The Road to GEC+Africa 2026 continues to move across the continent, with four more countries set to take the stage as momentum builds.
Each regional event brings together entrepreneurs, investors, ecosystem support organisations, corporates, and policymakers. The focus goes beyond selecting a winner, it’s about activating local ecosystems and creating meaningful connections that drive long-term impact. Participating founders also take part in a national bootcamp ahead of their pitch event, designed to sharpen their business models and strengthen their pitches.

Kenya — 9 July 2026
One national winner from each country will join a growing cohort of finalists heading to the Cape Town International Convention Centre on 16–17 September 2026. There, ten African finalists will pitch live at GEC+Africa 2026 for a place among the Top 3 innovators on the continent’s biggest stage.
